Happy Birthday, Radiant Ladies, on your 5th year!

Shirley Gerulatt and Patricia Phillips are co-founders of this wonderful group of "Radiant Ladies", and we thank God for His encouraging us to start this important ministry, where we can share and grow and study about Him.

We meet every Thursday morning in room W6, from 10AM - 12 Noon, and are currently doing study from Beth Moore on the Fruit of the Spirit.

This ladies' ministry was started in April, 2004, as a Bible Study, exercise group, and prayer team. Body-Mind-Spirit is our motto. At this time, the exercise part is a little wanting, as a few of us have aged and our bones and bad knees tell us so! But we do try to move, even if it is just walking inside the building.

Prayer is our most important calling. We have heard of many answered prayers that we have offered up to the Lord over these years of serving God's people. We are, indeed, prayer warriors.

Not all "Radiants" are ET members. We have several ladies from other churches in Palestine. Over all, we have 14 lovely, faithful ladies that come. One Lord over all!

We sometimes "celebrate" just being us with lunch out. We also have a birthday lunch for those celebrating their birthdays every second Thursday.

Radiant Ladies also head up the ministry of the Purt Near Saints that meet every fourth Thursday for lunch and fellowship, and a speaker that brings what may be on his or her heart. Join us there at 11:30, and bring a dish to share!

Radiant Ladies have spun off another ministry at Cartmell Home for the ladies there that are interested in quilting. Bertha Graham and Beverly Brown are in charge of that ministry. If you are interested in joining, please call Bertha at 903-729-1651.

The Lord tells us to love one another and to minister to each other, and to study His Word. Be obedient.
